When a girl has sex for the first time, what happens to her... is there really a "wall"???

What you are referring to as a "wall" is actually a thin piece of tissue called the hymen. All girls are born with this piece of tissue in tact. However, there are a number of things that can cause this barrier to be broken, not just sexual intercourse. For girls who are more athletic, the hymen can be broken with rigorous physical activity related to sports and exercise. Also, modern-day tampons can break this barrier, although not always, when they are inserted into the vagina. Typically, anything inserted into the vaginal cavity, including those used in routine medical procedures, have the potential to rupture the hymen. When this occurs, it can be painful for the girl for a few minutes, and it is normal for a small amount of vaginal bleeding to occur.
