However in my opinion, if money is seperated, I think it only right for the man to buy the woman's ring and vice verca. It's 2009. It really all depends on what a persons own beliefs are.

M$Nowadays, women work as men and can pay for most of the wedding expenses. But there is no romanticism in sharing the bill of the rings. As in many other expenses.
Sorry for the opinion, anyway, but when the marriage starts to sound like a fair and profitable enterprise, it is better to marry a partner, not a woman you love. True marriage in based on feeling, satisfaction, and mutual help. Don´t think about the bonus at the end of the month. In this case, the best investment is the happiness of your woman.

I'm not looking to buy right now. I'm just looking for styles. I'll try to remember to take a picture of the rings and send it to you sometime. They're gorgeous, but they need to be cleaned. I'm not even engaged, my mom's saving the rings for when David is ready to ask me.

I asked David to marry me and he didn't say "No." He just said "Wait until we move out." since we both still live with out parents though we have a daughter together. Anyway...
