Of the modern SNL I really like the Digital Shorts by Andy Samburg. Here are a couple of my favorites that are not super popular:

M$After watching Betty White do her muffin skit on Saturday, it reminded me of my favorite skit of all time... Colonel Angus.

M$One was the season Billy Crystal was on the show (in 1985, I think) when he did the Fernando Llamas impersonation, "Fernando's Hideaway" and he had Mr. T and Hulk Hogan (back in the early years of the World Wrestling Federation when it first got big-time national attention) on and was making them laugh so much with what had to be almost total improv that it was hilarious.
The second was a skit with John Belushi when he played a Samurai Warrior - anyway, one week he did one with Richard Pryor. Both are really more visual to appreciate how funny they were.
