What's your favorite movie trilogy of all time? Why?
If not trilogy's then also double billed ones.
Mine right now has to be, straight away, The Matrix Trilogy. Just love these movies. Even more after seeing The Animatrix. The acting may be a bit weak same with the dialogue, but the visuals and the story is just fantastic and so enjoyable.

This series had me sitting on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding the entire time. I love that kind of action. I watched The Bourne Supremacy immediately after seeing the first one. The third, The Bourne Ultimatum, I had to wait for, but I actually seen it the first time in the movie theater. It isn't often a movie makes me pay that kind of money. It was worth every penny. The only fault was the "jumpiness" of the film made me a bit queasy.

The acting for this film is just superb every one played their parts to near perfection and from beginning to end you where satisfied with what the characters produce on the screen
The plot of the picture surely provides the backbone for this trilogy success. One ring which will destroy all races and utter a new rule over middle earth. From the beginning The Shire and Bree,Rivendell and Lothlorien,Rohan and Gondor to Isengard and Mordor.Who would have thought a Hobbit would save middle earth none of the other races would have even considered that thought. But for me it just goes to show that even the little things we ignore do play a pivotal role in our lives.
Special effects music and sounds added another plus for this trilogy.
One of the best films,if not the best film ever created.

M$The other one I would have to say would be Lord of the Rings, it wasn’t my favorite, but considering how popular it became so fast, it deserves mentioning. I found it interesting but still think Harry Potter beats it!

It's a great series It has action, good actors (Brando, Al Pacino, Robert de Niro etc) and insightful descriptions of the Italian mafia.
