What's your favorite mod or content download?

What's your favorite downloadable mod or content for a game? Examples include horse armor for Oblivion, PIP-BOY enhancements for Fallout 3, and the like. Give the following information:

1. Name of the mod or content.
2. Name of the game the mod/content is for.
3. Price(if any)
4. Platform(PC, PS3, xbox360, etc.)
5. Why the mod/content is your favorite.
6. Where to obtain the mod.

You can list multiple mods/content if you like, especially in situations like Oblivion for PC, where multiple mods work together to enhance the experience of the game.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Thanks for the answer! I especially like that you included a link to the game's website - if it weren't for the inherent customization of LBP, I'd have picked this answer; since it is so highly customizable, a content download doesn't go as above and beyond as it probably could in most cases. Thanks again for the well-written, helpful answer!

1. Garry's Mod
2. Half-Life 2, other Source Engine games
3. $8.99
4. PC
5. Amazing toolbox with all elements of Half-Life 2's engine. Even without knowing how to do anything, there's a lot of fun in playing around with everything endlessly. I especially love building balloon-powered flying vehicles.
6. Steam Store http://store.steampowered.com/app/4000/

Unfortunately, according to Steam, Gary's Mod is referred to as a game itself, and is no longer considered a "mod".

However, your answer is well-written and very helpful - thanks for taking the time to answer!

1: Team Fortress 2.
2: Half-Life 2
3: I believe its $19.99 USD on Steam?
4: PC (Also for 360, PS3)
5: The class system is very fun. It's like Counter-Strike except everyone has their own unique way of playing instead of just point and shoot.
6: Steam Store

It's a bit silly to call Team Fortress 2 a mod. Though Team Fortress 1 was originally a mod, this one was always going to be a separate retail product, you don't have to own Half-Life 2 to play it, and the only commonality is the Source Engine. You may as well call almost any game a mod, given that few actually build their own engine for a new game.

Team Fortress 2 technically wouldn't qualify as a mod or as downloadable content for Half Life 2, as it can be played as a stand-alone - Half Life 2 is not required to play it. However, I do appreciate your answer!
