What's your favorite conspiracy theory?

And do you believe it?
Tip for best answer: M$0.65
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My favorite is the moon landing. Was it a hoax? I never thought twice about this being a possibility until a came across something random online (I don't even remember how or where). Now I'm obsessed. And as for your second question... I think I do believe it. There's so much evidence. Here, I'll post a couple opposing videos and you can decide for yourself.

I was going to say when I typed this that "the only conspiracy theory I never entertained was the 'we never went to the moon' one." But now, since you've suggested it, I will have to entertain it...

So many to chose from, but the newest one I like is the one about the Mona Lisa painting is actually a self portrait of a young Leonardo Di Vinci himself before the beard.

My favorite conspiracy theory, is the conspiracy on the September 11, terrorist attack. History will judge this conspiracy theory.

I'm big on this one too.

This one panders to one of the grand conspiracy theories though. I'm surprised no one suggested one yet.

My favourites are the theories of David Icke... he's the guy who came up with the idea that prominent leaders (including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth and others) are actually giant lizards, who are keeping all humans captive inside a giant matrix like hologram we experience as the world.
Icke has published 16 books so far, and his theories are vast and complicated... and, to me, hilarious. I especially like the fact that the lizard men feed off of negative emotions... its a good explanation for some policy decisions over the years!

I think he believes what he's saying, and he's certainly done his research on ancient religions and so forth. But frankly, I don't think his theories are true, just interesting.

I'm familiar with Icke, and Rense too. Do you think Icke has any credibility at all?
