I first saw her on “Married with Children” as Kelly Bundy. I don’t care for the show, but I do think her ability to play the character shows what a versatile actress she is.
I loved the movie “The Sweetest Thing” and felt Applegate’s character was hilarious. Her portrayal of Courtney Rockcliffe was similar to Kelly Bundy in that both were sexy and silly. Courtney, however, was classy, educated, and well spoken. I would have to say that this is my favorite of her characters. Not only did she look amazing in the film, but her sense of humor reminded me of some of my friends. I suppose this character was more realistic than the others.
“Anchorman” was annoyingly funny as was Applegate’s character, but I just can’t bring myself to call this one my favorite.

That movie was funny. Christina's character had to get a job, grow up and keep the family together. It's a movie we can watch over and over. Hilarious!
