What's the worst poker hand you ever lost?

Tip for best answer: M$1.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The worst poker hand I ever lost was a hand of hold em' when I had "pocket rockets"(a pair of aces). I had roughly 100.00 invested in the hand. On the flop there was a King, an Eight, and a Two. On the fourth card, it was a King. On the fifth, an Ace. I raised fifty and knew I was the champ(at least for that hand). I was in for about 200.00 at this point and was ready to do my fatboy dance(I'm 280 lbs.) I started acting a fool and yelling. He threw down his pocket KINGs!!! Are you kidding me?! He edged me out and took my cash! Oh my God! I was crushed! He had 4 Kings and I was stuck with a full boat. I have played for a few years now, and though I have won and lost more as far as money is concerned, I have never had a bad beat( bad beat is a hand that you know there's no way you can lose) quite like this. That is my worst poker loss ever.

Texas hold'em. I was dealt Ace-Queen. Flop was 2 aces and a queen. I went all in. River was a king. My opponent was dealt Ace-King.

Grrrrr.

This one time, I bubbled in a Hold'em tourney because the other guy had the better straight flush. I thought that my Jack-high SF was good, but nooo - he had the King-high SF and knocked me right out of the tourney.

Oh, yeah, that burned. And because it was a sit-n-go tourney, on Stars, there wasn't even a bad-beat jackpot to make me feel better...just the bitter, bitter memories of that nasty beat. Siiigh.

Playing on Poker Stars, believe it or not I had 4-6's. Ohhhhhhhhh boy thought
I had the pot. Of course I kept raising and was feeling ever so sure of my
self. I kept thinking gee this fellas dumb, I keep raising and he raises back.
Well, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh on me.....he had a royal flush. I was so happy
no one could hear me or see my face. I still laugh about it..NOW.

This happened last summer at a casino in Mississippi during a hold 'em tournament. I had AK spades and raised big preflop. Everyone folded but one guy. The flop comes, and it is 5 7 10 of spades. I bet big, he raised, I went all in, and he called. His cards were 69 spades. The turn was something insignificant like J hearts, but guess what the river was? Yep...8 of spades. So, I got put out, and he won huge with his straight flush. It sucked!
