What's the term that describes application abandonment due to break-up / ex-partner (predominantly in video game / social networks)
I'm trying to find the term that designates abandonment / attrition in MMORPGs and/or social networks as a result of an interpersonal relationship gone sour. I've seen the term before but can't seem to find it anymore.
Basically, the gist is that some users will join (or leave) a social application like a social network / mmorpg as a result of not wanting to be in the same 'area' as their ex-partner. There's a 1-3 word term that designates this process, and I think it's used primarily in academia.
