What's the secret to getting the Last Stand ability in the game Halo?

There is no last stand ability in Halo, there is a level called last stand. Unfortunately Halo 3 is the last of the series and there is no plan to extend the games. They will continue add new maps, guns and perks to the existing game, so keep checking the online and your came console dashboards.
The last stand ability is in modern warfare series of games and you have to earn it by doing challenges. Personally I hate this perk it just delays game play and for the most part a waste of a useless perk slot.
