That doesn't really explain very much. But their Constitution has a little more information:
"Mensa encompasses members representing many points of view. Basically, they are a place where high-IQ people can get together without any of the baggage that us poor suckers in the real world carry--they don't discriminate regarding any of those aforementioned characteristics. They have gatherings where they can chat, network, play games, etc.
