In particular, I'd highlight Tim Curry's stellar work as the Butler and Michael McKean as Mr. Green, but the entire cast is stellar. (It also features Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Eileen Brennan, Lesley Ann Warren and Martin Mull. But the real star is the great dialogue. It remains quotable to this day.

M$The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension made in 1984
Starring Peter Weller, Jeff Goldblum ( oh gosh I love the cowboy outfit ), Christopher Lloyd, Ellen Barkin and my favorite mad guy John Lithgow. What a cast! They are perfect in the roles.... so many great names in a weird and wacky movie.
Brain surgeon, singer, scientist, traveller through the 8th dimension - Buckaroo can do it all :)

I watched Clue a couple of weeks ago :) Tim Curry is a genius in that film
Great choice. This is a difficult question, because its hard in hindsight to determine what was underrated.
Agreed. I just recall ''Clue'' being sort of knocked at the time for being what it is - a remake of a board game - despite having a really great screenplay. I've seen it pretty recently and it holds up remarkably well.
