What's the most joyful hat in the world?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The hat. Hats can indicate a specific job, team, style, or other unique characteristic. Some people where hats when they are having a bad hair day (like me). Others wear hats to identify themselves (military). And even more wear hats as part of their style.

The joy a hat can bring to someone varies as much as the hat itself. For example, how many sports fans don baseball style hats at their team's game? It shows a belonging and connection the fans have.

A cowboy hat denotes the rigors of the rodeo and the wild west. Originally designed to protect them from the elements, the cowboy hat now is part of a style.

The fedora. I love this style hat. It shows class and swagger. Michael Jackson made the fedora an icon. It represents a mystery and hardness. Just like in the movies depicting mobsters. There isn't anyone who hasn't put on one of these on who didn't give reference to the Godfather, or try to do the Moonwalk.

Many hats also indicate a nationality. They represent a part of a cultures history.

To pinpoint which hat offers the most joy, is next to impossible. But if the hat brings you joy, I say "Wear It!"

What a great answer to such an elusive question!

(my most joyful hat from childhood would have to be the cat's hat!)

An Easter bonnet has got to be the most joyful hat in the world! I'm sort of sorry that easter bonnets have gone out of fashion in recent years. I love the whole spring flowers and grass spirit of the easter bonnet. The May Day spirit has gone by the wayside, too, and that is a shame. They are similar.

Cute!

Personally, I'm thinking of spending my old age wearing huge, feathery hats. ;)

Now let's see if some of the guys come in here to take a stand for their baseball hat collections or some of those goofy beer helmet things. Ha!
