Since I was a child I had dream involving a character I named "The Shadow Man" in dreams he appears i almost always experience sleep paralysis and upon waking feel ill. (Dry mouth, erratic heart beat, paleness) In this dream he stepped out of a mirror on my now husband's wall before we moved in together, and simply leaned in an spoke. The odd thing is the smell from the dream is what my husband says my sweat smells like with addition of sulfur. He thinks the "shadow man" is me, or a dead part of me. lol

"Unusual... it is unusual that I am up so horridly early.. it is unusual that i slept so long yesterday and it is a more unusual dream I had that kept me from sleeping much more than I did... and it has everything looking different today.. different is not necessarily bad... but different all the same as if a meddlesome child has twisted the coloration knobs in my eyes like an ancient television I watch as if I've been up for much to long and all reality has become simply one crappily made film without subtitles.. vibrant colors when it belongs in white and black...he stepped out of the mirror there on dustins wall as if it were a door like any other door and without effort to conform to the smallest of size...and i thought to myself here it comes bringing my hands to fists because with feeler dreams it's best you have something to grip.. less you'll lose it...and he bent down near to me so that even in the ungodly heat of the room i could feel the chill run down me.. a smell that must've been breathe whispering threw it hints like matches.. flowers and sea water and it makes no sense.. staring into my eyes.. i struggle to focus foraging for his like looking for something in a distant overly dark room that you know is there.. but could never make out in the absence of light.. and he did something he has never done before.. he spoke..and vanished.. no struggle.. no suffocation... i could move.. but i lied there still for hours wonder what the hell it was he said..whether i couldn't remember or i never understood to begin with is irrelevant to the fact that i feel it was important and i missed it like all important things.. and in all admittance it worries me."
