What's the most addictive game that you've ever played?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I've logged over 600 hours never starting the main quest. I play it on the PC though and it has so many mods running, it's nothing like the standard game. Everything is very deadly but the rewards are so much better.
Actually, I may have played Star Wars Galaxies about 10 times as long between 03 and 05 but Sony ruined it so I try not to think about it.

M$As someone who is not much of a gamer geek, Katamari Damacy was the most addictive game I ever played.
The gameplay is very, very simple. You use the analog sticks on the Playstation controller to move a big, sticky, sphere around the screen. You run into stuff, and it sticks to the sphere. That's it, really. Not much skill involved.
However, it's the other stuff in the game that makes it addictive. The visuals are trippy and awesome. The plot is silly, but hillarious. The music in the game is earworm-catchy. And when you are rolling up things on your sticky sphere, it is a ton of fun.
See below for the trippy opening song

For my husband, he definitely gets immersed in the "World-of" fantasy MMORPGs. He was playing Dragon Age pretty much non-stop this winter, and moved to Star Ocean for the spring.

My wife won;t let me even try to play World of Warcraft. She says she'd never see me again.
She may be right... Ha!!
