Ratings of TV shows are usually based on Nielsen TV ratings. As per these ratings the highest rated new show on cable TV is the Walking Dead. It started on October 31st and was preceded by an advertising campaign that featured a zombie invasion. This show is currently at the number ten spot in the Nielsen chart for cable TV shows. The Walking Dead TV series has already been picked up for a second season, which will feature 13 episodes. An important feature of this show is that it allows people to win a chance to play zombie extras by checking each show for a secret word.
