What's the difference between Cream of Wheat, Oatmeal, and Grits...if I put the same ingredients in all 3 wouldn't they all taste the same?

Grits are made from corn. Oatmeal is made from bran oats. Cream of Wheat is made from wheat. Grits taste a lot different from Cream of Wheat and Oatmeal. They generally are made with butter and are less sweat. Cream of Wheat and Oatmeal are more closely related, in taste. Both can be made with brown sugar, cinnamon, or fruit. Oatmeal is a little sweeter.
