What's the difference between coins and XP in Fishville?
Are XP and "Coins" the same thing in Fishville? How are they different, and how do I earn each one? Which one is more valuable to keep? Can I buy either one with real money, or do I have to earn them while playing the game?

Coins and xp are two different things entirely in the game Fishville. Coins are the money in the game that you use to buy fish and items and to upgrade tanks etc. XP is shorthand for experience points which are what you earn for doing things and enhancing your tank and are used to advance your level. You earn coins by selling fish and then have to buy more fish eggs using the coins. As you advance in levels you can get fish eggs that cost more but also give a higher return value so that you can buy more eggs and earn more coin. You can also earn coin by helping your friends with various tasks such as cleaning the algae off their tank walls. Experience Points are also earned for growing and selling fish as well as for helping out your friends but instead of being used to buy items they go towards increasing your level. The more experience points you have the higher your level and the better fish you can get and the greater the rewards are for helping your friends.
