What's the difference between a blog and a content website?
I think the question is clear enough, however the second question is: Which one is better?
Honestly I don’t see any differences, except for the fact that a content website has more information. I also noticed that a blog provides information from a personal view-point while the content website is focused on external sources.
So, what am I missing and which is better?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

A blog can contain personal thoughts and personal information. The amount of content can be short or long (does not have to be a certain number of words), and may contain a video or audio. Blogs tend to be more personable, and blog writers can easily interact with their readers.
Content websites are rich in content and have a lot of information on a certain topic. An article contains more than 250 words. Content websites are more of an informational site compared to a blog where there is more of an interaction with readers. Content websites are search engine friendly. The websites can be used for marketing.
Which one is better? It all depends on your personal preference.
