According to the Royal Gazette, Pierce is a Bermudian. The Gazette says that Pierce is the "first Bermudian to play in the prestigious event" (Super Bowl). The Giants official site also says that Pierces "hosts an annual free football clinic and scholarship gala to benefit the youth of Bermuda, where Pierce was born and has family." Apparently Pierce returns to Bermuda regluarly to visit family and friends.
The annual golf tournament is in Compton, Claifornia, which benefits the Antonio Pierce Youth Fund.. The fund provides scholarships to high school seniors in Bermuda, provides free football camps in Bermuda and Compton, California and provides mentoring opportunities for the youth.
Pierce is now a free agent after he was released by the Giants on February 11, 2010. TMZ reported on April 4, 2010 that Pierce completed an audition with ESPN to be a studio football analyst for the coming season. If this is true, that would mean the end of Pierce's career as an NFL player.
