M$I was glad to be able to deliver vaginally because I didn't really need any more scars in that area. The good thing about the scars is that I can freak my sister out with them. The scars bother her so I flash her every now and then just for the reaction.

M$When I was 18 months, my mom had my sister - she got post partum depression. My father was working a lot, and seldom home, we lived far from family and friends so my mom was alone with 2 young kids. I am certain I was told over and over "not now, the baby needs me" and "be quiet, you'll wake the baby".
Mom had 2 more kids soon after, and this apparent favoritism of babies surly was impressed upon me because one of my earliest memories was when baby #4 was born I talked to mom on the phone (she was in the hospital) I was on the floor crying, feeling so unloved because I knew she loved babies more than me.
I rememeber this feeling even now, some 40+ years later.
Many people think a baby is a blessing, but at 18 months old, I was still very needy of my mother as anyone who has an 18 month old only child will know.
Anyhow my biggest scar is that to this day, I hate babies. I feel threatened by them and really do not understand why people are attracted to them so much, when babies are so useless etc. While this may sound like a horrid thing to say, it is a feeling created in me at a very young age, reinforced throughout my early life, and a scar that has only begun to heal as I have aged.

M$that is very unfortunate. but i'm surprised your anger is really with babies and not moms, your mom specifically, but more with adults. Babies don't ask to be born and they are helpless. But babies grow up. Good luck with your healing process and hopefully you meet some babies - your own more than likely (hopefully) that you like.
For me, it's a crescent-shaped scar on my leg, about the size of -- well, about the size of a car exhaust pipe. You probably see where this is going, don't you? I was unloading groceries from the car, and my leg brushed up against the still-quite-hot exhaust pipe. It was a pretty bad burn -- for context, this was years ago.

M$It looks like a knife wound, which is kind of cool I guess.
Really though, what happened was when I was about 19, I was locked out of my apartment. I slid some glass louvered window panes out of their grooves so that I could get in. One of the glass panes fell and sliced my thigh open, right through my bath robe.
