What's the best Wordpress plugin to make my blog mobile friendly?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

To compare (and not to spam), go to my site, http://goodlifemenus.com first from your computer and then from your phone.
The developers update it very frequently, and are very responsive to user requests and feedback. Two updates so far have been direct responses to requests I've made.
Two big pluses are that it doesn't redirect, and it doesn't require a separate URL for the mobile site. An even bigger plus is that it already handles the Nexus One! It even resizes images on the fly, will split up long posts without any help from you, works with WPMU, and even lets you do a lot of editing from your phone!
I just did this search myself in August, and picked this over both other plugins mentioned so far. It just did what I wanted the most easily

And I've been using it on my site since August

M$A lot of top WordPress sites use it. The development team is always releasing new and useful updates. You can see a live version of it run on my blog. http://blog.yourappletrainer.com

M$I second mactrainer's answer. WPTouch is a great plugin for wordpress that automatically formats your site for many different smart-phones (e.g., iPhone, iTouch, Android, Palm Pre, Blackberry, etc.).
The plugin has many, many options to further customize it. There are plenty of mobile themes (many of them free, of course) that you can install as well. The WPTouch plugin is also very cleanly and efficiently coded. Plus, it's updated all the time with new features and fixes. What more can you ask for?

I agree with @mactrainer. WPTouch hands down, as it gives you the flexibility to use in multiple smartphones and other phones, as well as customizations and other robust add-ons (presently) for your needs.
