What's the best website to stream live video on?

I've heard of UStream, are there any other ones out there that are better?
Tip for best answer: M$0.50
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Ustream seems to have risen to the top of the free streaming sites out there.

http://www.ustream.tv

If you have a webcam, then your pretty much ready to go. It's even tied into Facebook and OpenID.

If you're looking for something a little more robust, check out bitgravity.

http://www.bitgravity.com

It's a paid service that offers reliability and quality for high volume streams.

If you're just looking to try it out and have some fun, definitely take a look at Ustream.

There are plenty of sites available. The main one's seem to be:

UStream.TV
Justin.TV
Stickam.com

There are others as many others will testify to. These are the ones before I decided on UStream for my show. Its not only the cost if any, and that the service has the features that you are looking for, but the demographics of the service.

I found that Stickam seemed to have a younger demographics, where UStream seemed to have an older crowd who was checking out the shows. So Im not sure there is a answer to your question; you need to decide on what you are streaming and what audience its going to appeal to and then go from there. Of course there is nothing stopping you from using more than one.

Here are some available streaming websites that I aware of that can handle live video streaming for you.

UStream.com
http://www.ustream.tv/login-signup

Stickam.com
http://www.stickam.com/

LiveVideo.com
http://www.livevideo.com/

Qik
Qik.com

I know that both UStream and Stickam are very popular and I have watched hours of content on these services. They are very robust and appear to be the most popular and reliable.

UStream does have an iPhone app so that you can watch mobile video also. you can get it at the appstore or from the link below:
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301520250&mt=8

Qik has an application for the iPhone that can broadcast live video to your Qik account.
