I personally like to make my own because then I'm 100% certain on what's "in it"! And it's so much fun to make one's own! I've started learning to make natural skin care products and make-up from a book "Herbal Preparations and Natural Therapies" by Debra Nuzzi St. Claire, Master Herbalist. ISBN 0-9623812-0-9 by Morningstar Publications. And the best thing was that she had also produced a fabulous video (SunFire Productions) and just watching and preparing the products was a real joy.
And obviously, I'm still doing it to this day because I find that "natural is best".
