What's the best way to react when receiving a Christmas present?

Sometimes I'm so involved with opening a gift and figuring out what it is that I forget to express the surprise/joy/thanks I'm feeling to the people who are looking on.

Well, first react to the present. That's actually what the present giver is paying attention to the most. So do react. Then, look at them and thank them. Give the appropriate form of thanks. Give them a hug, kiss, or just say thank you depending on who it is. Smiles are always appreciated too :-)

Just let the person know how much you love and appreciate the gift, always be sure to give a hug and say Thank You at the very least.
