What's the best way to paint aluminum?
Primer? What brands? What kind of results have you had? Thank you

So if the surface is already painted you have to scrape the old paint off.. or simply pass sandpaper over the surface first.. make sure there doesn't remain any residual or cocoon of paint.
Then I suggest you to apply diluent or pure acetone (maybe with a with a bad cloth,a towel) in order to leave also the fat.
Then you have to apply a good primer, I suggest you to apply zinc chromate primer or anyway ask the best primer where you'll go to buy for the paint will use... personally I used Epoxy Primer and overton's with good results.. .(maybe go at a good paint store as MAB or Porter)..
now apply the paint.
P.S. don't forget to read carefully also the instructions written on the products... the producer suggests the best way of use of the specific product.
