You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There are two things you can do to help increase the water pressure through your shower head or hand held shower head. The first is to clean a clogged screen at the inlet of the shower head or hand held shower head set's handle. The second is to remove the shower head or hand held shower flow restrictor.

Mmm... cleaning first is a good idea.

I occasionally soak my shower head and filter screens by soaking them in plain vinegar. This helps remove the sediment buildup.

Easiest solution?

Replace the shower head.

I did that in my apartment's shower. And Oohhhhhhhy myyyyyy goooood, the difference was unbelievable. Not to mention that since I got a shower head that is removable, I no long have to duck under the spray to rinse my hair. My back thanks me. And my doggies get soooo much cleaner now. =D

And that's with a $15 replacement shower head from Wal-mart.

Purchase a good shower head.

I haven't tried this one specifically, but it looks really good: http://highpressureshowerheads.com/
