Tip for best answer: M$0.25

Potluck ideas are plentiful but depend on the event. Is it indoors or outdoors? Will you have access to electricity so you could do a crockpot dish? Is there a potluck theme to work around?

Even without the above, some of the routine favorite potluck ideas would be:

*PunchBowl Cake
*Banana Pudding
*Chocolate Layer Cake
*Baked Beans
*Congealed Salad

This is a favorite congealed salad I like to take to potlucks

Blueberry Salad

*2 pkg. grape jello
*1 large can crushed pineapple ( not drained )
*2 cups boiling water
*1 can blueberry pie filling
Dissolve jello in dish with boiling water. Add crushed pineapple and pie filling. Chill until firm.

Top with :
*1 cup sour cream
*1 large pkg. cream cheese
*1/2 cup sugar
*1 cup nuts ( ground )
Soften cream cheese and sour cream. Add sugar and nuts; beat until well mixed. Spread over top of jello.

If you will have power, you could do something like meatballs chili.

Bake cooked shredded chicken in conc crm mshrm soup, tortilla chips, black olives & grn chiles at 350 for 30 minutes.

Chicken Tortilla: Simmer chicken in water on low heat for an hour or so till it falls off the bone. Shred and mix with concentrated cream of mushroom soup, tortilla chips, black olive slices, and canned green chiles. Smooth into a shallow pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. I first tasted this at a potluck. I'm so glad I asked for the recipe!
