M$Yeah, there are simply too many variables in this question for a complete and accurate answer.
What operating system are you running?
What type of files do you need to sync? How big are they?
How often do you require them to be sync'ed?
What type of network do you have? Is it a fast gig or a slower 10 meg?
Questions valued over M$1 are usually interesting and I would love to give this one a complete and accurate answer.
I'm running a Vista, Windows 7, and A XP machine But mainly trying to get the Vista and XP machine to sync a certain folder.

M$It's really a great service. You set it up X number of computers, choose which folders you want synched, and where, and voila - you're set.
Your files are also instantly available On-Line as well - so if you want to access them via Web, or via iPhone app, it's easy.
Today they launched version 1.5 which allows you to even share any folders you want with friends and family. When you update it on your computer, it gets updated on the web - and everyone always gets the new files.
Additionally - shared folders are version controlled, so all changes are saved as well :)
Sincerely, I've been using it since the day one. While it's not free, it's definitely inexpensive!
