What's the best place online to find a good deal for a plane ticket?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I usually end up booking through Expedia but Orbitz is a good one too.

I love sidestep.com. It checks every airline website and gives you info in a nice way.

(Only) if you are a student try studentuniverse.com otherwise try southwest.com

Southwest has flights for for under $150 including taxes/fees but they don't fly to many airports.

My top choice would be: Mobissimo
Runner-ups: Kayak, SideStep, Priceline
Honorable Mentions: Orbitz, Farecast, Expedia, Travelocity, Southwest and Hotwire

Definitely www.orbitz.com. I have been flying back-and-forth to Europe for years and have never experienced a more accurate and helpful site than Orbitz. Their prices are by far the cheapest.

Also, if you don't mind when you fly, you could try Kayak.com. You can sign up for alerts that tell you when the price of a flight drops or increases, so you know exactly when to buy.

Priceline.com is an unnecessary hassel.
