What's the best PDA out there?

Tip for best answer: M$0.11
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would go with the ARCHOS tablet. It's an Android device so support will be going on for quite some time, you get all sorts of contact management and calendar stuff built in, but because it's Android you could also get Apps from their marketplace.

It does not have a cell radio built in, so no radiation there, but it does have a wifi radio if you wanted to use it but that can be turned off it you don't.

I think it really depends on what features you will use most. However, in general, it is my understanding that the Blackberry is the most popular PDA available. This is most likely because it is the best. They have many different models to suit all types. It is able to provide all the desired office functions, like email, reading Office documents, storing contact information, etc. It is also able to access the web, and the browser is good. They have started adding apps, which make it all the more attractive. Any internet communication site has an app for the Blackberry, because they are so popular, which makes it easy to connect to any site you need. They are also available with many different carriers, and not limited to one or another. So, as far as all your communication needs, the Blackberry is your best bet.

Hi Riseabove,

Thank You for your answer. This is great although, I am looking for a simple PDA that is NOT a blackberry. I would never use a blackberry because of the amount of radiation that is emitted from it. I need something that has no link or communication through the software it comes with to my computer except for syncing pictures and videos and that's it. The rest of the information such as contacts, documents, tasks and anything else that's personal I need to be completely separate from the computer and not synced. The internet is good but I do not want or need a phone attached to my PDA. I already have a phone. So with this in mind, is there a simple PDA on the market that is NOT a phone and that does NOT sync personal information except for pictures and videos?
