What's the best (non iTunes) way to download podcasts and listen in Windows Media Player 11?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

All podcasts are saved in one folder dedicated for all Zune downloads. You can use Media Player 11 to open these files - You mentioned in your question that you would like to use Media Player 11 to listen to your podcasts.
By the way, you don't need to have a Zune player to use the Zune software.
Download the Zune software from:

M$Armangil's Podcatcher is possibly the easiest way to go on Windows but I haven't played with it yet. Your mileage may vary.

M$Apart from iTunes, the most popular are Juice and Doppler.

However I can't tell you which is best because I use iTunes!

I have heard the Zune software is very good but does it have any WMP integration (as the question applies that)?
