What's the best kind of wine to pair with Halibut?
I absolutely love Halibut - firm and flaky goodness. What kinds of wines should I look into when serving Halibut to friends and family? I typically serve it lightly breaded and baked, or pecan or macadamia nut crusted with lemon and parsley (yum!) What should I pour to compliment this fine fillet?

Chardonnay is an old standby for fish and poultry, but I'd go with a Pinot Grigio with your halibut. It's a white wine that goes well with fish because it tends to have a citrusy finish, but it's also got enough body and flavor to stand up to the rich taste of nuts (which sounds delightful, by the way, I'm going to have to try that).
