What's the best free web host?
I already use Google Sites, Blogger, Tumblr. Used Geocities and Google Page Creator before they closed.
I need plain vanilla hosting. I need to upload PHP, HTML and a few images. I want good uptime and good reliability. Zero costs. Custom domain/DNS support, fair storage and bandwidth. FTP support.
I've scoured all the forums and linksites, but they never provide any real good info on "reliability," ie length of time in existence, or verified uptime, etc.
Where do I go?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I suggest www.webs.com. I've used that web service many times. It's pretty good.
