What's the best food dish you have had in another country?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I don't go out to other country much, but my most favorite dish I've ever eaten abroad is a kind of seaweed soup I ate at a hawker stall in Singapore few years ago. It was clear soup with seaweed and seafood, served on a bowl with candle underneath the bowl to keep the soup warm.

It is very sweet, savory, and absolutely delicious. I still dream of eating it. I'll definitely look for it if I have the chance to go to Singapore again.
