What's the best day of the week to send out a press release on a light entertainment topic? Monday, before the week heats up?

Actually, as a former reporter, I'd have to argue that Tuesday or Wednesday might be the best day to send out your press release. On Monday, reporters are still scrambling to catch up from the weekends events and by Thursday or Friday they are trying to finish up with the week so that they can enjoy the weekend. On a Wednesday, especially if it pertains to an event the next weekend, reporters are often reaching that mid-week lull when they need something to write about and don't have any good ideas.
