What's the best Bond film of all time?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Great villain: Goldfinger (It was not about power, he just liked gold and money.)
Great henchman: Odd Job
Great plot: money and saving lives. No crazy world domination.
Great Music: Shirley Bassey
Great Bond girl: Pussy Galore
Great one liner: No Mr. Bond -- I expect you to die

M$I think I like it because it was the first after Connery left and when you watch them all in a row you get excited when there's a change. Also because OHMSS and the following film Diamonds are Forever are actually the first 2 part Bond story. Everyone kept saying Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace were but that's not true.
Spoiler for 40 year old moves***
In OHMSS Bond gets married and at the end Blofeld kills Mrs. Bond. Diamonds begins with Connery (back for one film) seeking revenge.

M$I am a huge fan of Daniel Craig too. I loved Casino Royal. I thought, while he didn't fit the profile, he did an excellent job as Bond.
I have a hard time getting into the Sean Connery bonds. I got hooked on Bond during the Roger Moore error and have been an addict ever since.

M$Can you elaborate more on why you like that one so much? I mean, there are so many Bond films to choose from. Do you think Connery was the best bond as well?
I hope this helps. That one is a great pic. "wink wink nudge nudge'' lol.

I do think he was the best Bond. That is not to lessen the roles of the others, they were very good as well. Overall though, I think that Sean Connery set the standard really high as far as how to "be Bond." Suave, cool, flirtatious, and masculine. He nailed it, and the others, though getting that as well, had to really work to reach that standard. I think for the first film, Connery set the standard so high, that he had to be 100% as good or better in the other Bond roles he played. That set the stage for excellence for all of the rest of the films to come. Plus, when Ursula Andress came walking out of that water, she set the bar extremely high for all of the rest of the Bond girls. Everyone expected a complete beauty from the girls, and a super suave gentleman from the Bonds. That is why the others were such a success, because the original was able to make people want to come back for more.

Could the tipping point for you been Zina Marshal,Eunice Gayson, and Ursala Andress?
The movie set a standard for Bond women that was never matched.
Great points, it is so close for me between Goldfinger and Dr. No
