what's teh best RTS game for 2009?

It isn't an RTS and it isn't the best BUT Majesty 2 IS awesome.
Because the game play is so indirect you'll spend most of your time struggling through the early game. But once your heroes can fend for themselves, it's cake walk. Can't wait for the 3rd game in the franchise but it's a shame they aren't seeing enough revenue for their effort.
I won't continue to fret the ridiculous delays of soon to be classics like Star Craft II and Command and Conquer 4 but somehow both seem to be such linear extensions to franchises already played to death. Can't they innovate? (Star Craft being presented in full 3D like Halo but retaining it's RTS game play? is that impossible?)(Command and Conquer 4 not being a cash grab that forces players to choose between rolls for no real reason at all?)
At least you can look forward to Supreme Commander 2 with a clear conscience. It will also be more of the same but no one has any high flying expectations for that franchise.

Everyone has his/her best game for him/herself. But based surveys I think the best RTS game on 2009 was:
- WarCraft III
- Company of Heroes
I'm not a serious gamer, but my friends play these a lot.
