What's next for Egypt?
Now that controversial President Hosni Mubarak has stepped down from his official position, what's next for Egypt? Who will be chosen to lead the struggling - but now free - country? Who will choose said leader? What issues will be addressed first as the country takes form?

Now one hopes that the press will be free and the parties allowed to campaign fairly. I hope that the constitution is changed to allow proportional representation by the parties as is the case in many parliaments. Egypt currently has a strange version of winner take all by district.
At any rate, being a member of the Green Party here, I'll be cheering on the Green Party of Egypt, which is one of the 24 small parties there.
I hope they stop squabbling about who is the real Green Party of Egypt too. That might be a difficulty more broadly in Egypt's newly freed democracy.
