What's do you think is the "best" briefcase. I've used Kensington SkyRunners for the last 10 years but you can't find them now. Suggestions?

I'm an IT consultant, so I tend to have a lot in my briefcase (netbook, cables, more cables, tool kits adapters, etc.) The SkyRunner was great with its multiple compartments. I prefer ballistic nylon over leather for the construction material.

Alternatively, I was thinking of getting a smaller briefcase for the "essentials" and having a second bag for my "gear." I could even end up using my ol' Runner for the gear.

Suggestions for places to purchase them would be great, too.

Thanks for the input. :)

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Have you thought about using a single briefcase instead of two different bags for ‘essentials’ and ‘gear’? Take a look at the briefcases (http://www.briggs-riley.com/category/group.aspx?cat=business ) by Briggs & Riley. These cases offer great organization features (lots of pockets for specific things) and are made from ballistic nylon (as per your preference). Their products are backed by a lifetime warranty that even covers airline damage. I hope this helps.
