What are some of the most elegant old hotels in Boston?
I love elegant old hotels, and it seems like Boston might have quite a few. I'd like to discover some of the most impressive ones in the city (that are still being used as hotels vs. being converted to something else), and learn a bit about the history behind them.
Okay, I admit I usually can't afford to stay in any city's top hotels...but that doesn't mean I can't check them out ;-)
Also, are there any beautiful old hotels that would be a great place to have breakfast some morning? I can usually afford that :-)
