what's are the best restaurants in kihei

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Cafe O'Lei is good, but the one at the Dunes Golf Course on the road between Kahului and Lahaina is better. Sansei is good. I didn't realize that 808 Deli had a restaurant in Kihei. Their mahi mahi plate is good. I'm not crazy about Da Kitchen. Never been to Aroma Di Italia. For lunch try Alexander's Fish and Chips. It's on the mauka (mountain) side of the road across from the park with the big whale statue. Order the deep fried ono plate. I have heard that there is a good Thai food place in Kihei but I have never eaten there.
If you take the road to Lahaina you come to Maalaea which has a small port. Right next to the water is Buzz's Wharf. Right by the ocean, great views, but pricey nowadays. Directly across the street there may be a restaurant called Maalaea Grill. If they are still there, they had great food and better prices than Buzz's.
If you go to Kahului, eat at Bangkok restaurant on Dairy road across from Savers, or Ichiban which is right next to Central Pacific Bank. Both are hole in the wall places with great food.
Wailuku has a good Vietnamese place. I think that it is called Saigon. Take the road from Kihei toward Lahaina, but turn right at the junction. Drive into Wailuku, and turn right on Main Street, then left on Central, then the next right. A few blocks down, Saigon will be on your right.
