I've been pretty unenthused about most movies I've heard about lately, but "The Way Back" has caught my eye and is one I'm looking forward to seeing. This epic movie stars Jim Sturgess, Ed Harris, Colin Farrell, Mark Strong and Saoirse Ronan. The film follows a group of seven imprisoned soldiers who escape from a Siberian labor camp during a winter night in 1940 and attempt to trek thousands of miles across the Gobi Desert and Tibet to India. This is based on a true story, depicted in a novel called "The Long Walk," which is the ghostwritten memoir of Slawomir Rawicz.
