What's a rough cost for building a binary clock which will run for 89 years?

I'm a computer guy, so I can figure out the programming aspects behind this, but the engineering part of it I need some help on. I'm looking to build a binary clock which needs to run for 89 years(geeky time capsule, so yes exactly this amount of time). I'm assuming I need some kind of a microprocessor, 38 LEDs, and a plug with a battery backup. And hopefully some kind of frame to hold it all together. Where do I start?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
