Seriously, get her what she likes. Whether it's jewelry, books, shoes, a purse, a funny or romantic DVD collection, or anything else under the sun. Just plan ahead and check a variety of online or local stores so you can get the best deals possible.
Check with her family or friends if you need to-- the important thing is to think of her favorites and not just what you would like her to have or what you think would be impressive. I find great deals just by being patient and looking around enough to make the savings worthwhile.

Thanks for the great idea. Shopping for clearance is always a great idea but, I have to admit it's 2 days away. So, although a great idea it's too late of time frame.
JC Penny's jewelry department is often overlooked. I found my wife's favorite ring there on sale for (with all the coupons and discounts opening a new account) almost 80% off. The ring and lifetime warranty ended up costing about $260.
She loved it before we even knew it was on sale. She got it the same day BECAUSE it was on sale! :)

Inexpensive ideas could be to create a big love heart out of his favorite candy or have his and your initials spelt out with candy or you could create his favorite dessert and have an intimate candlelit dinner at home.
