A good score on a C-Reactive Protein lab test is 0 – 1.0 mg/dL (milligrams per deciliter), or less than 10 mg/L (milligrams per liter). The test is used to determine the relative risk levels of heart problems, where less than 1.0 mg/dL is the lowest, 1-3 constitutes an average risk and higher than 3 means high risk.
Results may vary depending on:
1. If you have an inflammatory condition, which can raise the CRP levels.
2. There are medicines that can also lower the CRP levels.
3. The laboratory that is doing the test.
These criteria are from the University of Michigan Health System site, where you can look for more info if necessary.
