What's a good location for a first week-long vacation in Ireland?

County Kerry is really the jewel in the crown. You've got amazing scenery throughout the county. There's also a great, scenic drive called the "Ring of Kerry". Kerry also has several, picturesque, tourist-oriented towns, such as Killarney, Tralee, Dingle and Kenmare. There's also several coastal areas in the county where people like to rent a small house for a week and just take some time to relax.
Nearby West Cork is also worth a look, for much the same reasons. Donegal also has some great scenery. One last recommendation would be Galway; the city has a lot of culture, and one of the county's main attractions are the stone walls that have been there for as long as 150 years in some cases.
