What's a good copy-paste app for the (jailbroken) iPhone?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

(Un)fortunately, there is not only one but two:
- Clippy
http://www.iphonedownloadblog.com/2009/01/19/clippy-finally-brings-copypaste-to-the-iphone/
Available from:
Cydia installer app, search for "Clippy" (available through the iSpazio repository), install and hit the "Reset Springboard" button to finish up.
After installing the application, type any text you want and simply hit the “123″ button on your keyboard to show the copy/paste buttons. Tap “copy” and start selecting the text you want to copy. Tap “copy” again to end the selection. Then tap “paste” to paste this text where you want it to be.
Limitation of Clippy: only works across the Notes, Mail, and SMS apps.
For Safari (and Mail) copy and paste, there is PasteBud
http://pastebud.com/
Available from: a browser that syncs with iTunes (Safari or Internet Explorer), or from an iPhone or iPod Touch.
According to the author, the video is from the older version but still applicable to the current version.
Clippy and PasteBud are free. For PasteBud - there is an option of upgrading your clipboard for $5, to secure your clipboard with SSL and hide the footer that pastebud appends to the end of each paste.
