Whatever happened to The Fat Boys?

The Fat Boys was a music group of three large guys that rapped in the 1980s. They even had this cute movie called 'Disorderlies'. I can still remember when my mother took me to the mall. I had saved up my money from collecting and recycling cans. I purchased The Fat Boys cassette tape Crushin' at Disc Jockey, which was a big music store then. Whatever happened to these guys? Where are The Fat Boys now?

The Fat Boys are popular hip hop group in 1990s. Prince Markie Dee, one of the members left the group to pursue a solo career. While the remaining two members, Kool Rock Ski and Buff Love continued as a duo and released Mack Daddy in 1991 but after that the group disbanded until 2008.
The original Fat Boys are regarded as a seminal part of early hip hop music recording history. Buff Love passed away due to heart attack on December 10, 1995 in Rosedale, Queens New York. He was 28 years old at the time of his death and he weighed 450 lbs. Prince Markie Dee is presently managed by Uncle Louie Management and he is a radio host for WMIB 103.5 FM, the Beat in Miami, Florida. Kool Rock Ski is also managed by Uncle Louie Management and is based in New York.

The other members of the Fat Boys launched the website OriginalFatBoys.com on November 5, 2008 and they are managed by Uncle Louie Management and Uncle Louie Music Group headed by Louis L. Gregory where they are embarking on a comeback.

They have posted on their website that the Fat Boys have recently recorded it first track in nearly two decades and are planning of doing reality TV show to search for a new member.

The FatBoys were a hip hop group that were active from the mid 1980's until 1991 and from 2008 to present. Also known as the "Original Fat Boys'', their self titled debut album was in 1985. The group starred in the 1985 film, Krush Groove and the 1987 film, Disorderlies. In 1988 they recorded the theme song for Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master called Are You Ready for Freddy. Prince Markie Dee left the group in 1990 and Kool Rock Ski and Buff Love released an album in 1991, but then shortly after that the group disbanded. The group opened it's first official website in 2008 called OriginalFatBoys.com. The group recently recorded its first track in nearly twenty years and is reportedly going to have a reality television show in attempts to find another member for the group.
