Whatever happened to glowworms? out of all the 80s toys, that is the one i would like to see come back?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Ahh, memories. Hasbro's classic Glo Worms were originally released in the early 1980s (1982 according to Wikipedia) and by the turn of the 90's there was a full set of "Glo Friends" stuffed toys.

Interestingly enough, Hasbro still produces a modern version of these little guys, so there's no need to wish for its return! It's already here! And for the decent price of $11.99.

Hmm...I think that I like the old Glo Worms better. The pic of the new one just creeps me out.

This was a unique toy, and they are still around. The original Glo Worms were manufactured by Hasbro, and they were manufactured until the mid 90's. There is however a new design of Glo Worms which are currently in stores. These are supposedly softer and smaller than the original, and more "kid friendly".

There are a few listed on Ebay including the original Glo Worm
